So it has been a while...but an exciting while! I'm going to grad school in August, I'm almost moved out of my apartment, and now living with my boyfriend. Our (which I love saying) house is looking fantastic! However, in this busy time I have not been really getting any greener. And if I have done anything green, I've forgotten to take a picture of it, let alone post about it! But I am back!
One exciting addition to our new house is our patio! We got the bricks from Craigslist for free providing we would dig them up and carry them up a very steep hill. We built the patio last weekend and it feels like we have a whole new room to our house! We already had the grill and patio furniture (which we are planning on paint black soon). Here is a picture of our first dinner on the patio, which coincided with my parents visiting for my birthday!
Our garden is coming alone nicely, too. Gregory re-purposed the old compost bin into a bed for our tomatoes. He also made a bocce ball scoreboard with an old piece of wood and chalkboard paint.
So hopefully I'll be back for good! I am also working on a new blog that has a more general theme and will post a link when its up and running!
